In the last video we began studying a prayer of David in Psalm 141 and we saw something important, but there was one last part missing, which is where he said: "and let the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice!" Psalm 25:12 says, "What man is there that fears the Lord? He will teach him the way he should choose." — Many times we have to make serious decisions in life, and we are in doubt about what we should do... And it is at these times that our contact with God makes a difference. But today I want to study with you the first two verses of Psalm 141, because there are a lot of lessons for us there. The cause of suffering, illnesses, financial difficulties, and problems in general is the fact that we allow the action of demons in our lives. However, when we are in communion with God, He enlightens us, guides us along the path we should walk, gives us strength to fight against the onslaught of the evil one, makes us overcome temptations and frees us from the enemy's traps. Our God makes us capable. He gives us the authority to expel evil spirits, and we must always do so, because it is these spirits, these demonic forces that cause us problems, bring illnesses, bring suffering, heartbreak, misery, cause us tremendous harm, cause dissension, separation between family members, and it is also these spirits that tie up the person's life, preventing him or her from being fulfilled, from prospering. When a person is under the influence of these spirits, they become bitter, unhappy, angry... they do not get along with anyone, and no one gets along with them. Everything in this person's life goes wrong and they end up going into depression because they do not see a way out. But there is a way out. The Bible clearly says that Jesus came to undo the works of the devil. And He has already accomplished this task. So, if you are there, sad, dejected, with health problems, with problems with your conscience, with pain in your body or soul, hopeless, unhappy with life, nothing in your life is going right, start getting involved from today with God, lift your head, begin to listen and pay attention to the revelations of the Word of God, and begin to pray and invoke the powerful Name of the Lord upon you and upon your home, and you will see that evil will not resist presence of God in you.
There are moments in life when only God can understand our suffering. At that time, nothing man does or says can ease our pain. Because the pain of the soul only God can alleviate. And, it is at these times that we can understand how good it is to have someone to trust. God is good! After all, it was He who said, "Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will glorify me." (Psalms 50:15)
