... And JESUS said to Marta:
"I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even though he is dead, will live; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this? (John 11:25-26)
If a man dies, will he live again? Asked Job a long time ago. (Job 14:14) You may have wondered about it, too. The Bible promises: "Your dead will live... they will rise." And she also says: "The righteous themselves will possess the land and will reside on it forever and ever." (Isaiah 26:19; Psalm 37:29).
When you ask someone if they believe in God, they are almost certain to answer: YES, I do. But, is it? To believe in God is to believe all that He said!
And what answer would you give the Lord if He asked you the same question He asked Martha?
Look, there is no point in lying to the Lord, and not even to yourself.
Think about it, do you really believe that you will never die?
Well, if you are reading this, it is because God wanted to tell you this today.
And He wants you to believe that truth.
We are not dealing with the death or life of your body; we are talking about you as a person. You are a being created by God, in His image and likeness. As it is written:
And he created God (out of the dust of the earth), man in his image; (Genesis 1:27)... and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man was made a living soul. (Genesis 2:7)
Notice that just as God is a Single Being in the person of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, so we too are One, composed of body, soul and spirit.
It is very common to think of ourselves as we see ourselves in the mirror, but in reality we are seeing only our body, and not our real person.
It is necessary to understand that we were made "Living Soul". We are what we are, a soul, a personality, that dwells in a carnal body, that received from God the spirit of life, or the breath of life as it is written.
We cannot confuse "soul" with "spirit", although many do.
When God created man, He formed a body out of the dust of the earth, and breathed in it the breath of life. The spirit that God has given us, and dwells in us, is from God, and he will return to God when our bodies die. It does not depend on color, race, or belief.
Yes, we have a spirit, but that spirit is not us, we are the "living soul" that dwells in the body. Our feelings and emotions, our character and personality is this "living soul". That is what we are. And we will never die, believe me.
Today we inhabit a material world, but there is another dimension: a spiritual world. And in this spirit world there are two kingdoms, the kingdom of evil and the
When we no longer have our bodies, we will be transported to that other dimension, and we will live there forever.
Time passes very quickly, and our days on earth will be over.
But you will live forever. It is up to you today, to choose where your next address will be.
Jesus warned, "Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21)
God does not want anyone to get lost. And we know that "whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How, then, will they call on those in whom they have not believed? And how will they believe in those of whom they have not heard? And how will they hear, if there is no one to preach?"
(Romans 10:13-14)
Read the Bible.
There is no other way to reach the creator, except through His son JESUS ??CHRIST; "and the name by which it is called is: The Word of God" (Revelation 19:13), as it is written at the beginning of the gospel of John: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1)
This is the true God and eternal life. (1 John 5:20)
