It is not always easy to trust God when we have a problem. And this is because the Lord does not always answer our requests immediately. But, one thing you can be sure of: After you take a problem to God in prayer, you can be at peace, knowing that He is in control of everything.
"My soul waits only in God, because my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my defense; I will not be shaken. In God is my salvation and my glory; the rock of my stronghold, and my refuge is in God. Trust in him, O people, at all times; pour out your heart before him. God is our refuge." (Psalms 62:5-8)
Learning to trust God is very important to us; but this is not always easy; mainly because our eyes cannot see what happens in the spirit world, when we pray.
Beloved, the LORD IS THE GOD WHO ANSWERS PRAYERS. Never let yourself be deceived, thinking that God did not hear his prayer, because HE IS THE LORD, THAT EVERYTHING SEES, EVERYTHING KNOWS, AND EVERYTHING CAN!
Why then does the Lord not answer us immediately?
We must remember that HE IS OUR FATHER, and we are his children. A child has no right to expect his father to fulfill all of his requests, or to do so immediately. Some of these requests are merely passing wishes; others need to wait for the right time; and still others would not result in the good of the child or other people involved. For this reason, it is often necessary to wait some time to get God's answer, but do not think that HE will leave your prayer unanswered.
God knows the right time to do everything. Waiting on the Lord and believing that He will always do what He says, is the secret of victory. The one who despairs and seeks other ways to resolve the situation is like the one who "swam a lot to die on the beach".
"For thus says the Lord GOD, the Holy One of
"Therefore, the Lord will wait, to have mercy on you; and so he will rise up, so that he can have compassion for you; for the Lord is a God of righteousness: there is a blessing on all whose hope is in him." (Isaías 30:18)
