To be of God, it is not enough just to hear the preaching of the Word; it is necessary to have communion with Him, because there is no one who can teach us better than Him. Whoever wants to be a disciple of Jesus, needs to get close to Him. Many people seek to approach God only when they need a cure, a deliverance, or want to prosper in life; okay that's not wrong. We can and must seek from God healing, deliverance, prosperity, all right... but these should not be the only reasons why we must seek God, but rather, and mainly, to learn from Him. God knows how to teach us, and the Lord knows how to warn us when we are going down wrong paths.
